As Senior Development Manager, Kinchasa is responsible for managing a three-person Development Team and leading, designing and implementing our operational strategy for our flagship program the OpenDORS initiative. Kinchasa is a critical team member of our annual and long-range development strategy for securing gifts from a variety of sources, including foundations, corporations, individuals and events.
Kinchasa studied at the prestigious Clark Atlanta University where she studied biology and developed a passion for environmental justice. Formally, Kinchasa launched the 'Clean, Green, and Honor' Initiative for the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda. Kinchasa worked closely with Civil Rights Legend Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, to design, and direct and promote, this innovative program. As an activist, mother of twins, community organizer and builder of environmental programs for Georgia K12 schools and several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Kinchasa's high-level drive and passion gives her the ability to think both inside and outside the box with entrepreneurial and environmental creativity and innovation.
