Marcus serves as our In-Class Instructor. Program and Policy Associate. She directs strategic planning, policy analysis and program development within several key areas with respect to public health and healthy communities. She assists with data collection and analysis, best practices documentation and works very closely with our curriculum and development teams.
Monica has over ten years of experience in healthcare policy. Most of her recent work was helping increase access to high cost medications through patient and copay assistance programs and copay foundations. She currently serves as a School Site Council member and a District Advisory Committee representative in the Cupertino Union School District. She is an active volunteer for her school community, supporting teachers in the classroom, fundraising and working closely with the school PTO on special projects.
Monica earned her Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies at the University of California, at Berkeley.
