Community as a Resource
How can schools leverage the larger community resources to extend the learning time of the student? We help schools document the tangible and intangible resources that make up the social fabric of the larger community.
We view communities as educational resources to be leveraged, not deficits to be remedied.
Through interviews, forums, and an audit of district data systems we reveal patterns in resource and activities and information that paint a picture of a landscape previously unrevealed. It is with this road map that we begin our strategic planning with a district.
